well from what i have seen of the apartments i like it and we right now pay 950 a month for a house thats falling apart...so we looked at the oaks apartment and now we cant wait to move in on the 1st of may...the people seem to be very friendly and we have a soon to be 3 year old and i feel like it would be a very safe place for her to live.....and we also have 2 dogs so i like that fact that there is a dog pin area to let your dogs run around i love it cant wait...but they could add in a pool that would be great.....but the... read more

Although these apartments may look to be very nice and well kept from a by-passers point of veiw..I can assure you they are not. The paint jobs are shabby, the space is very small, the doorknobs even fall off and all of this for the most fair price of \$710 a month (ahhh sarcasm). Yes friends that is a 2 bed/ 2 bath (around 920 sq.ft.). There is no swimming pool and so many rules I couldnt even begin to go into detail. If you are looking for a good place to live I would suggest bypassing "The Oaks" (Lincolnton, NC)
Great Place! Please do not look at the negative things people can write. Come look for yourself and see that this is the best place in Lincolnton.
The apartments are over priced for what is offered. The GE appliances are cheap as is the construction. The management saves this community she goes out of her way to be helpful and kind. The drainage was not completed on this complex and the summer time brings mosquitoes to the drain pipes that lay open and exposed from rain water always full of stagnant water. the insects are huge .
