My brother and I lived here for 5 and a half years and we loved the neighborhood. It is very quiet and safe, has good access roads, and there is a Target, Heinen’s, Chipotles, Potbelly, Starbucks, and other stores nearby. The buildings are well maintained, the areas are clean, and there are walkways behind the buildings, surrounded by nature, where you can see wildlife. Please Don't move into this apartment. The management don't tell you everything straightly and talk to you only on emails. They asked me to submit application with the application fee. They didn't even give me few hours to decide. First they asked me to submit the fee as early as possible, when I did they said some body came over you so you're on the second priority (this was within 1 day). I am currently a resident here, I am however moving out so I will share my experience with this complex. If you are looking for a taste of Waukegan right here in Lake Bluff, come on down to The Oaks! Enjoy dealing with everyone doesn't live here; If you are interested in revolving doors, this is for you! Most communities are 9am-5pm, but not this one, this is 9pm-5am, from dusk 'til dawn. It's a cozy apartment it has a rustic feel like your up north . The area is blessed to have so much shopping now. Walking distance. Target, Silo Pizza, Chase Bank, Walgreens, Potbelly.....so on
