In response to owners response: You can hire aides who actually act like they want to be there instead of making residents feel like they are a nuisance if they need assistance. Not all the aides, there are a couple "gems" but if you are not lucky enough to have them assigned to you, than good luck! There are quite a few who apparently hate their job and have no business working with the elderly.
When we discovered we didn’t have a good match (no fault of Oakmonte’s), their representative suggested other (competitive) options. It’s a quality facility. Highly recommended…
