I am honored to write this review on behalf of my Mom. She moved to Oakmonte in mid 2024 and recently passed away after a long and wonderful life. From the first minute she joined the community, everyone welcomed her as part of the family. My interactions with everyone were positive and supportive. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Oakmonte Village! My mom has been living there for over six years. Through the years she had several medical setbacks that have been challenging! The staff at Oakmonte has ALWAYS taken care of mom like she is their own!!! I want to recognize Cora the director of health and wellness for her outstanding leadership and dedication. The good: activities and happy hour provide a good social environment for the elderly. The food is ok. Physical therapists and custodians are amazing. Cleaningness of the place is ok. Front desk personnel and staff are amazing. The bad: Wellness-This is the weakest link. CNA's are overworked with too many patients and mostly the place is understaffed to attend the elderly there.There are a handful that really care and do the best they can.
