Our experience with Oakmont has been nothing but spectacular. The staff is so friendly and goes beyond ourexpectations serving their senior community. My wife and I moved her mother from Virginia from another facility. When she arrived at Oakmont and saw the facility walked outside into the courtyard, she said, “I must be in heaven.” We’re very thankful that we have Oakmont so close to where we live so we can visit her frequently and experience the things that she experiences often.

My mother moved into Oakmont of El Dorado Hills in mid-October 2025. We gave notice she was moving out in early April 2026 although our decision was made a few months prior. All trust was lost within the first 3 months of her arrival, and this review is to help others who are considering Oakmont of El Dorado Hills for the care of their loved ones. I have a poor relationship with my grandmother and even then I still regret sending her here. The times I visited I saw utensils with old food scraps stuck like glue and smelled like mildew left overnight in a sink. Elderly people are already compromised in terms of health. Hygeine standards need improvement.
