I recently took a tour of this place for my grandparents and I was very surprised by the overall cleanliness and liveliness of the facility. They have a huge movie theater, a massage room, and a huge enclosed outside area with grass and flowers, a dog run, a garden and a salon with activities they do for residents daily. The facility was very active with residents completing puzzles and playing games in the activity room. Oakmont of Carmichael is a lovely assisted living and memory care community! The care team is compassionate and responsive. The management team is professional, knowledgeable, and proactive. They truly care about creating a safe, engaging environment for seniors that offers that offers a sense of purpose every day-a reason to get out of bed every morning! The dining experience is simply amazing! I highly recommend stopping by for a tour to see for yourself what makes this community and team so special.

High pressure to commit. Do not let loved ones live here if they have pets. They just want to fill rooms and do not take into consideration if an old dog needs to go out. They put our family member in one of the furthest rooms from where the dog can do it's business and gets mad about accidents. They saw the dog before all the papers were finalized and could have said it would not be a good fit. They also refuse to give the dog supplements then question why the dog limps. I moved to Oakmont of Carmichael 3 years ago, I love the staff, the food, this is my home and I would encourage every one to move here, it is a beautiful, caring and loving community.
