Terrible saw this dr. often had severe gallbladder pain for 6 yrs was ignored until I pushed for a surgeon that took him 3 days to refer me. Gallbladder was ready to burst w large stones He dropped me 2 weeks later as a patient saying I did not comply now I cannot find a new doctor. He ignored my 3rd stage kidney disease & argued with me over thyroid med.I have NO THYROID GLAND He never presctribed what I needed I ordered my own T-3 T-4 combo from Canada that worked he didn't like that. I was switching because of having to deal with an NP that did not understand my issues with medication. I scheduled with Dr. Oakley, an MD for a serious discussion. I got a confirmation for a PA and not Dr. Oakley. I was mislead when I filled out paperwork to see the MD. Summit is a horrible organization that will not allow patients to see an actual doctor when needed.
Dr. Oakley is a great listener, explains test results thoroughly and is whole patient focused.
Very caring and confident in all his experiences in helping his patients to understand all the options they have and in making those appointments for you he is the most compassionate dr I've ever known I have been going to him for 20 years and would recommend him highly to everyone and already have

I would just like to say that I was very impressed with my visit today with Dr. Oakley. From the front desk personnel, to his nurse Sandy they are all very professional and friendly. I have been looking for a physician in Greeneville for 3 years. A nurse practitioner I know mentioned that she interviewed for a position in his office and was really impressed with him so I decided to make an appointment. He was professional and personable. Knew all the right questions to ask me and took time to listen to me. Finally found a physician I like.
First time with a visit to see Dr. Oakley. The staff was friendly and the Dr. was too. Getting older, I needed to get a Dr. since mine left Greeneville. I am happy that I met this Dr. and I plan on keeping him as my Dr. The reviews I read did influence my decision to go to this doctor.
