Today I received a call from my daughter she was being taken to the Oaklawn ER and asked if I would please meet her there. Upon my arrival I was told they were getting her settled and someone would get me when this was finished. I waited for about 40 minutes, and I was finally taken back. When I walked into the room, she started to tell me something and began crying. She was there because she was experiencing issues with dizziness and feeling like she was going to faint in addition to some other symptoms. She said when s... read more

If you’re having important tests done I do not recommend going to Oaklawn! This is the last time I go as I’ve had some very important tests done over the last 9 months or so and every time it has taken weeks for my doctor to get the results and I’m usually the one having to chase my results down and make sure they get sent over. The last was for a holter monitor that I had done 3 weeks ago

Got my a letter from Oaklawm that stated because of a phishing email my daughter's medical info my have been compromised. I'm sorry, but this was caused by employees clicking on emails that where unknown?? Don't you train hospital staff about that? Then to see add insult to injury they ask me in the letter to monitor my daughter's insurance or other information for fraud?? So your employees cause this and I have to watch out?? So what recourse is do I have if it is compromised?? Anything??

Usually I have great visits. However, today was not a great visit. So I brought my 67 year old dad in today for an MRI. He can't walk. My 16 year old son came with me to help me as my dad can't walk and needs the extra assistance that your greeters clearly can't do. After we brought him in and I went back outside to park our car, I came back in. The greeter lady who is wearing a red and gray stripped sweater proceeded to inform me that my son can't wait in the waiting area because only one visitor per patient. I looked at he... read more

The ER was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Felt as if I was an inconvenience. Tried to get me out as fast as they could. Still in so much pain, with no real answers.
