My mom take my brother the man not help him with anything
I've been a patient at oaklawn for around 20 years. Recently I was admitted to the hospital there at cedars for 7 days. The entire staff treated me extremely well. They offer 3 meals per day plus snacks. Every day the meals are different. I didn't eat the same thing the whole time I was there. I would like to give a huge shout out to Dr. David Taylor who has been my doctor there for about 20 years for getting me on the right path time after time. God bless you! Oaklawn is a God sent 🙌!!!
Oaklawn cedars has been a great experience for me. Dr Taylor was a great help and set me on my path to recovery. Highly recommend this mental health hospital if you need help
I’ll give this place 2 stars because my psychiatrist is wonderful- but him being great doesn’t negate my bad experiences in other departments. It took me about 2 months to finally get assigned to a therapist after doing group therapy, and she was chronically late to every session while still ending all of my sessions on time. Longest session I’ve been able to get with her was 35 minutes (a session is supposed to be 45.) Recently, it was 15 minutes past my appointment time and she still hadn’t even called me back.
