I’ll give this place 2 stars because my psychiatrist is wonderful- but him being great doesn’t negate my bad experiences in other departments. It took me about 2 months to finally get assigned to a therapist after doing group therapy, and she was chronically late to every session while still ending all of my sessions on time. Longest session I’ve been able to get with her was 35 minutes (a session is supposed to be 45.) Recently, it was 15 minutes past my appointment time and she still hadn’t even called me back. Recently had two goshen jehovas witness enter my house illegally pretty sure ive seen em here but noone has reached out to identify them oaklawn has a problem about harassment in some of its businesses they dont treat the people liveing on the path program and they are often abused
Previously I had a lot of trouble with this location because I couldn't call and take care of anything. The hold music was awful even through my new Google Pixel phone which does great with anything other than badly done hold music. The receptionist left an impression of trying hard to be out of sight or look like she wasn't even there. Dark desk, hunched down on cell phone, or elsewhere and leave every call for voicemail to be ignored sometimes for days. They turned that around though. This place was absolutely great. I truly was helped here. The staff were great and cared. I want to give a shout out to Dr. Cowarly. She was amazing. I would recommend to anyone looking for mental health resources. Thank you.
Not informed when my therapist was out, after I pointed this out they started notifying me then stopped randomly. No notification if my therapy would resume, if my therapist was still out temporarily, nothing. Just silence, then I reach out and.... irritating hold music and leave more voicemails to be ignored. I gave up trying.
