Not informed when my therapist was out, after I pointed this out they started notifying me then stopped randomly. No notification if my therapy would resume, if my therapist was still out temporarily, nothing. Just silence, then I reach out and.... irritating hold music and leave more voicemails to be ignored. I gave up trying.
Came in last Thursday in bad mental shape. I explained what was going on. I asked if I showed up first thing Monday if he could give me his best person? He said for sure I got there when the doors opened. No counselors are in. This is wrong I drove 45 minutes. If a person can't trust you from the get go. It's bad.sorry.
I was a resident here as a teen, 2007-2009. During that time I was subjected to a new "program", brainwashing tactics, and a slew or ethically questionable atrocities. I was a child. I was subjected to polygraph testing, their cruel loss of privileges tactics (I wasn't a bad kid, I was autistic, but they skirted around all of that), isolation, bullying, and the unfortunate position I was in as a child, or the adults didn't believe you and wrote whatever they wanted to write. I'm okay now but I always missed this place because the staff treated me great and I loved the meals and one lady held my hand when I had a bad reaction to a medicine I was all tense and couldn't put my tongue back in my mouth it was terrifying but I could sense she was was full of the holy spirit. And this older gentleman always gave me some snacks when it wasn't time to eat. They do everything they can to make u feel your not less than.
