I was born and raised in Oakland, Ca. I never thought I would ever leave Oakland. My 5 children were born and raised in Oakland. Things started getting unsafe in Oakland and my husband and I left in March of 2002. My children are scattered about the Bay Area. they too left Oakland. My heart is broken to read so much about the violence there. Oakland needs more officers and whatever help they can get. I pray for our law enforcement there. Bless them one and all for their dedication to their city.
