Their team was so patient and kind with my boys, and it made a stressful trip to the dentist actually pleasant. My son wants to go back tomorrow, thats how much fun he had.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Oakland Pediatric Dentistry! From the moment I called to schedule the appointment, the entire process was seamless. They were amazing with my 3yr old. It was her first appt. The tv on the ceiling really helped. The hygenist told her everything she was going to do before she did it. The environment was calm and quiet. Oakland Peds Dentistry was perfect for my anxious girl!! After the appt they let her pick a treasure from the box. My daughter said she loves going to the dentist now. I even feel comfortable bringing her autistic brother for his first dentist visit too! Wish we found them sooner.
There is no way to truly express how happy our family is with this office. From the front desk, to the nurses, and Dr. Da Costa himself it is the best possible experience! They all seem so happy to help and care deeply for all patients. Today, my son had to undergo an extraction and also have a spacer put into place. I DEFINITELY recommend! I have an autistic daughter who has been “traumatized” by other dentists, so naturally she was scared and anxious at first. However, this dentist made ALL the DIFFERENCE! He was patient with her and gentle. He explained things to her and gave her time and chances to process. My daughter let him examine her teeth which is HUGE progress for her! We will definitely continue using this dentist. All I can say is THANK YOU to them, but even that’s not enough to express my absolute gratitude.
