It was great you must try it , very cool feeling and relaxing!
When I saw the sign "Oakland Floats", I thought of ice cream and root beer. Wrong. You float in high density body temperature salt water in complete darkness with earplugs for 75 minutes. I tried it for the first time yesterday, and it was an amazing experience. Devoid of visual, tactile, and auditory stimuli, I found my self in a different world. I cannot yet elaborate on any potential benefits either short or long term, but I will try it again soon.
My first float in 30 years. Excellent. 50 characters? There! Done!

Experienced my first float today, I absolutely loved it! Very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable staff in a clean, welcoming facility made for an excellent time. As a long-time chronic pain patient, I have tried many methods for relief. Floating will certainly be added!
