I went to see Doctor Sobol. He was very dismissive when I told him what I was experiencing, and he did not even bother to exam me before telling me that I was wrong about what I was experiencing, and told me to get an MRI before he would do anything. He was extremely unprofessional and condescending. The entire appointment lasted 5 minutes and then he billed me for 45 minutes.
Louis Sobol should NOT be allowed to practice. I brought my elderly father in for what should have been a routine earwax removal — instead, it turned into a nightmare. During the procedure, the doctor punctured my father’s eardrum, causing him visible, extreme pain that made him cry out in the chair. I was in the room and witnessed the whole thing. I was seen by doctor McBrien and she was also my surgeon for a septoplasty and turbinate coblasion. She's very quick, but she takes the time to explain things and to answer all of your questions. I had also brought up that I wanted to repair my stretched ears and she suggested we do it at the same time as my septoplasty, which saved me a lot of time. A lot of people have expressed how scared they are of getting a septoplasty and I always tell them to go see Dr. McBrien because the healing process was so smooth for me. I was ... read more
I would select 0 stars to accurately describe my visit however then I would be unable to post and share my experience. I was seen by Dr. Sobol, whom if you read what has been written about him in the past is 100000% accurate. He was condescending and laughed right in my face when I was nervous about being prescribed steroids for a potential ear infection after I was on antibiotics. In my opinion if your black he will be scared to touch you! First the nurse wanted me to sign a consent form saying that the Dr answered all my questions and I have not even seen him. When she first gave me the consent form and I was trying to read it she was acting like it was the most crazy thing a person can do! Then the Dr. Sobol came in spent 15 mins OR so and barely wanted to actually listen to me!
