Judge Kostin and her husband were accused of several accusations of unethical misconduct over the years by lawyers and judges. How either of them obtained or maintain Law licenses or are elected officials is beyond me but they’re both lawyers!
Won’t let me pay ticket online. Call and the people on the line are rude and miserable. Give me a ticket but make it virtually impossible to pay for it and then increase the price more and don’t take payments over phone for some reason. Have to drive an hour to get to this court to pay for a license plate light ticket. Ridiculous
I got sued by LVNV Funding over a decade after they claimed they took over administration of the alleged debt. I went to court dressed professionally with all my documentation requesting information about the debt only to be steamrolled and lambased by Judge Kostin who wouldn't even let me get a word out before interrupting me during the hearing and calling me a deadbeat who refuses to pay my bills. I could say something but I’m not going too… as a saved Christian. I pray that every court staff member at 52-2 become better people!
Never thought Judge Kostin to be ethical, She took a blind eye towards lawyer misconduct and police brutality. My Attorney solicited me At my former place employment (A Michigan Bar violation) said he was personal friends with Mr. and Mrs. Kostin (I knew her husband was an attorney & I met him once and he gave me his business card) and I was told I would get a favorable ruling Solely due to this Relationship my attorney had with the Kostins “Kelley and her husband Robert” And my attorney skipped my consultation and everythin... read more
