Best local chain hardware store ever! while all the home depots and lowes were sold out of ice melt, this store came through! no price gouging! integrity and supply reliability. five stars! Oakland Ace Hardware is now my primary goto hardware and general supplier from now on. Better selection than the home depot and lowes options. prices are much more reasonable for the average joe like myself.

I went in looking for a 24V gas valve, but they showed me a gas cock instead. An employee named Joe looked at me like I had two heads and walked past without making any effort to help. Based on how he acted, I can’t help but feel his behavior may have been discriminatory.
