Minoo has been helping my dad since he had a bad car accident. She has helped my dad a whole lot and he can't recommend her enough. The progress he has made in the short amount of time he has been working with her has been incredible.
I found it hard to book appointments. I'd leave a message to book with my counsellor and I'd seldom receive a call back. I was dealing with some pretty heavy things and waited over 3 weeks to book an appointment, I texted the line and called. Not a word back. It takes me a while to trust my counsellor enough to open up. I finally got to that point with mine, but getting an appointment when no one answers the phone line is impossible here.
Came in to the Chilliwack location to talk about family issues, got told I was "confused" about my gender and needed to present differently. My counselor was way out of her depth in trans issues. I'm just disappointed I have to deal with this from a mental health service.
