The residents are wonderful and the pay is decent but the downfall in my experience working there was lack of teamwork. Most nurses would not help their cnas and the management is horrible! I did everything they asked me to do to go from FT to PRN. I put it in writing gave plenty of notice more than 2 weeks! They still said I was a no call no show. Totally unprofessional.
White Oak Manor was the best place for my dad. He made friends and the staff loved him like family. He helped plant there garden and he got to go to several events. He loved to cook and was a chef. They helped him cook one of his dishes for all to try. Which made him so happy. Jim the activity director is amazing and keeps the place active. Always lots of activity during the week. I am Thankful to God and so Blessed for the privilege to have completed the CNA course here at White Oak Manor Of York as well as to have not only have studied with the most Amazing, Caring, Knowledgeable Staff, Students and Residents, I am now even more Blessed & Honored to work here but more Importantly have them as part of MY FAMILY Who Mean The World To Me And I Love Dearly
I have attended school here with Danea Garcia and she is a amazing teacher, friend, and personal therapist.. I have learned so much from her and I appreciate it all. I have waited for this for so long and she has helped me make it possible. Thank you for this opportunity danea. The staff are great and the facility is a great place to work.
