I'm new to Oak Walk and want to give an honest assessment. It's early in the process but my first impression. The Good: Management and maintenance staff is responsive and communication is good. The app is very good. My apartment is beautiful and spacious. I love it! The Bad: The neighborhood isn't the best. Before moving here I was told Emeryville was a great location. Beware. You will repeatedly have your MAIL AND PACKAGES stolen from inside the complex. You will find people sleeping and urinating in the stairwell. Your car will get broken into repeatedly in the garage. The intercom will never be programmed with your information or even work right. You will find men with weapons in the garage. Shady place that costs a premium
It's a great apartment complex. Neat, well maintained and modern. The fitness center has a good mix of exercise machines. The management is pretty responsive and fast.
The entire time I’ve lived here management has been unable to fix two of the three the entrance intercoms. So somehow people can get into the property to steal bikes from the bicycle storage room, but not to deliver residents’ food orders or packages. Building management doesn’t even know how to re-program the intercoms, the third intercom just broke this week.
