My daughter did a 5 day horse camp at Oak View stables from 8am-2pm. It cost a lot of money and we found the camp low value for money. According to their website, the camp was $400 with a $50 deposit but I ended up paying $460 for some reason because the deposit seemed to just be an up front pay, and we had to pay an extra $10 for a helmet rental. I've been doing therapy here for about six weeks in the War Horses for Heroes Program. Trey is the trainer and he's a very patient and knowledgeable teacher. Otis is my horse and ive fallen in love with this horse! I look forward to my Thursdays and to seeing Otis every week. The volunteers are the nicest women I think ive ever met. They teach me, encourage me and praise me. Its just such a peaceful experience that stays with you and Im having less anxiety and more good days.
