Nice, quiet place. Penny's diner is fantastic.
Was here in late February for a pipeline project. Stayed 3 nights at the hotel, and it was quiet and comfortable. Pennys Diner and the Bill Store were adequate options for dinner. If you want a quieter room ask for the eastern end; the trains do operate all night and you can hear the diesels... and then horns after it gets dark. But the facility is not close, just enough to hear it from a distance. In the back there are outlets for block heaters for diesel trucks.
