Our Rod and Gun Club has been shooting here since the early 80's. Over the last 2 years this place has gone down hill. Poor untrained immature field staff. Traps and speakers that are not serviced properly. When you ask for help staff stands and looks at each other until someone decides to do something. Rates have gone up with no improvements to justify the increase. Sad thing it's still run better than Triple B's. Going to Prado to see if they would like a new group of monthly shooters.
The gun club is the best place to practice your right to bear arms. It is one of many place in Los Angeles County where you can shoot outdoors.
This place is the the guys are so helpful, clean and safe ....
I would've enjoyed it more if the staff knew which time they closed. New Year's Eve the websites at 4 o'clock I get there at 2 o'clock and the staff said no we close at 6 o'clock then at a 3:45 they closed.
Wife and I had never shot trap or skeet so we bought the Groupon Shotgun deal. We've been here for the pistol range several times so it wasn't our first visit. Had an absolute blast! I recommend this for anyone interested in giving a go at the clay pigeons. My wife had never shot a shotgun before and Josh had her breaking clay on the 3rd shot! hand gun range was run smoothly with 0 issues. Little to no wait time even with the amount of people there. The rifle range however, had no more ammunition, was not renting out any of their rifles and was an hour to hour and a half wait just for a lane. This is not the fault of the range entirely but rather punitive and unconstitutional laws going into effect January 1st.
