Run!! I took a hurt kitten i found there not knowing what to do or how to help it. Pulling into Oakfield i thought at the very least i would receive a warn concerning welcome and if not able to help there would at least help urgently to guide me in the right direction. Instead i got a very rude receptionist that reacted more like she wasnt concerned and had no business working in that industry. Saved my dogs life! My dog ate a Pepsi cap, she was vomiting for over 3 days, we took her to 3 different vets and after many many vet bills and no responses (no one could read x-ray) the Vet at Oak tree animal hospital decided to do her surgery, he opened on a Saturday after hours just for us and performed a very successful surgery. He gave us his beeper # for any emergency, I was forever thankful. Although the office is not very appealing their services are great.
Awesome! I searched all over the area after Murphy's closed down and finally found Oak Tree. Been going there for 2 years now and I wholeheartedly recommend them! Verrrry reasonable prices.
Great vet! Dr. Kumar is very good. They can usually get you in the same day and the prices are great. Contrary to other posts I have never had any issues with the staff and everyone is very friendly. The vet is precise and informative and doesn't do unnecessary testing. I look forward to taking my pets here for many years to come.
Working Man's Vet I have had my dog for 3 months. I have been to 3 different vets and I am staying with Oak Tree. If you are the type of person that wants excellent care at reasonable prices, this should be your vet. . 4 stars for quality of care, and reasonable pricing. My precious dog had heartworms, and thanks to Oak Tree she is heartworm free. Thanks to Oak Tree she is now going to be part of my family for years to come.
Vet Like I remember I love this vet, no nonsense, this is your problem and this is how I will treat it. And this is what it is going to cost. He is very reasonable and thorough. Reminds me of the vets I knew as a kid not the fancy boutiques, that want to do thousands of test to tell you your pet is old. I need to pay for health care for people and not have to take out a loan for my dog who gets an occasional ear infection.
You get what you pay for While this veterinarian is more reasonably priced than most, the service is appaling. The receptionist is rude and the doctor seems to be afraid of large dogs! He flinched each time my dog turned her head to look at him as he was providing a routine check up- then decided he wasn't able to trim her nails (out of fear?!). You get what you pay for- spend the extra $30 and go to Banfield!
Wonderful Vet Care!!! My best friend works with many vets in the area and recommended Oak Tree when I had an emergency with my 17-year-old cat. Long story short, they took excellent care of Ethel (my cat). I also brought my miniature Australian Shepherd, Callie, for her shots the same day. Not only did they do all of her shots, they gave me some drops for her eyes (she's getting old, and has cataracts) at no charge. Binkie, my Maltese, is next on my list for great care at Oak Tree.
Have been going for years I have been a client since I got my Sheltie fixed there 5 years ago and now our Beagle goes there. They have the best prices and nicest employees. I also really like how the doctor is not critical of his clients...I've been to many vets that if you don't buy the food they say, etc. they act like you are a bad person...you don't get that here and I really apprciate it. I even moved out of the area and still drive back because of the prices and service.
