At office for testing. While there asked if someone could see me as I was there for testing of blood flow in extremities and have been having problems with my legs. Asked if someone could take a look at some open wounds n give me direction to care and let me know if I need urgent care or hospitals. ...I was told I would have to wait. No problem. 20 minutes later asked if I would still wait. Yes. So after 50 minutes they came to me and said they want me to make appointment and return. On my first appointment waited for over 1 hour to see NP. There are no Doctors at this office just NPs. Today I was scheduled for an appointment..When I arrived I was told I had to reschedule because there were no RNs available to give me a shot. I did not get a phone call and sat in office 20 minutes before I was informed that there was no staff member to give me my shot.
Just plain weird and creepy. I have a PPO which means I can go at any time to ANY primary care doctor or specialist in network at anytime. I do not need to get referrals nor never have to contact my insurance about my doctors. This place insists that, with one of their managers present, your insurance company is called to tell them that your provider at Oak Street is your primary care doctors. WHY????????? The insurance company could care less and in my 67 years have I ever heard of anything so bizarre at a clinic. I refused... read more
