Maybe you should allow for 0 stars as that is what I would have selected if it were possible. My experience with Oak Street Health was horrible. I was called by this agency and was never told that I would be billed for health questions they were asking me to provide. I called numerous times to talk with the billing manager but apparently he or she does not exist as they would never return my calls. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The only good thing is my doctor. However, she is currently on leave and to see someone else without talking to 10 people before you can get an appointment is not working. They do not care!!!! It's all about what they can bill Medicare. So very disappointed. I would recommend my doctor but NOT Oak Street. This CHAIN USES DECEPTIVE TACICS TO GET PATIENTS. THEY TOLD ME i WOULD BE SEEN BY ADULT PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR WHICH IS A LIE. THEY HAVE NURSE PRACTICTIONERS WHO CONSULT WITH A DOCTOR ON STAFF, IN THE BUILDING IS UNCERTAIN, AND YOU ARE NOT GETTING CONTINUITY OF CARE BY A PCP AS THEY LED ME TO BELIEVE WHEN MADE APPOINTMENT. I got Co-Vid at a wedding in San Diego, CA. I have both shots and both boosters. About 30 people came down with Co-vid. Several told me that they were taking Paxlovid. I called my office on 4417 W Diversey in Chicago and asked to speak to Gia my Health Professional. I never talked to her but after 3 hours they called me and told me to quarantine myself for 10 days. This place is horrible to try and get a referral to see a specialist from. They never call you back like they say they will. I have tried to get a referral since 3/22 and I still have not received it. When u call all u do is get a hold of a call center that doesn't care if u ever get what your looking for. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO STAY ALIVE!!!!! WORST MEDICAL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! This company is nothing more than a sales organization making false "caring" claims----it is the follow through they lack. CAUTION!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO STAY ALIVE. Mistake after mistake made, then to top it off if you need to talk to someone at the office--Good Luck!! They have a call center that is supposed to pass messages on to your primary location and they you are told that someone will call you back within 24 hours, well---Good Luck on that too. Very disappointed in how the system is currently when you or a pharmacy calls in for a prescription refill. I called the pharmacy and no refills were available so they called Oak Street, 2 days later the pharmacy still hadn't heard back. I called Oak Street to see what was going on and I guess nobody had got around to getting in touch with the pharmacy about refilling the medication.
