The Doctor is wonderful! Everything else has been so disappointing. Waiting 2 plus months for a simple Ozempic prescription still can't get it . I even called my insurance company and got a direct number for Oak Street to use . Now we find out after months our insurance is not in network! They lied and told us it was on our first visit.
Only one visit...but very good overall, friendly staff and friendly competent doctor.
It was a terrible experience. Hard to get referrals......I asked for a referral to a kidney specialist and was told "what can they do that I can't?" Turns out I have stage 3 kidney disease. I can use Google just as easy as the NP.
Have never been able to reach my PCP on the phone. Have been switched to offices across the US. The exams are not thorough - even the initial visit. Data is not available on a web site. After visit summaries have zero relative information about your visit or follow up care. Since this is run as a large corporation it feels to me like Big Brother is managing my health care.
