I’ve been with Oak Street Health for over a year. Dr. Tocco is my PCP and I am thoroughly pleased with the care that I have received from her and her team, especially Sherita. Dr. Tocco takes the time to listen & ask probing questions to understand my concerns. At each visit since being there, I’ve never felt like I was being rushed. My current neurologist that I have been with for 4 years has not diagnosed me and told me there is nothing more they can do. My Oakstreet provider will not give me a referral to see another neurologist I wanted to see (He was a top Dr from UofM). I lost use of my legs, and my arms are getting weaker, and I don't want to give up. My Oakstreet provider told me the referral must come from my old neurologist, and I disagree. No explanation was given as she walked out
I hear a lot of good things from seniors in the community. They are able to get to resources that the state makes seem far more difficult or impossible. Thank you for continuing to provide care for such a delicate population.
One of their employees said the quiet part out loud to a cancer patient there and kept her job.....I don't care, GO AWAY! Tells you all you need to know about this place.
