We have had a great experience with the Oak Ridge Counseling Center. My teenage daughter has connected with Ms. Heather and feels comfortable discussing topics that many teens in our community are currently facing. Her office space is warm and welcoming and feels like a safe space. Ms. Heather has been very flexible and accommodating with scheduling and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist in the Oak Ridge area.
Having past experiences with therapy that made me feel disheartened. I was hesitant, but excited to see Heather. At my first visit I felt immediately seen and heard. The vibe and her approach she has worked so hard really connected with me. If you are thinking about going to see her DO IT. You'll regret it if you don't. 10/10 the best in our area.
Heather is a remarkably capable therapist with a style that is both inviting and accepting. She is friendly and insightful and has a real talent for leading you to find your own breakthroughs. I see Heather at ORCC. She was very quick to respond when I first contacted her. Ever since my first time there I have felt welcomed, wanted & safe. I have never been completely honest & with Heather I can be transparent. The atmosphere is calming, positive & warm. I also love the fact that sometimes there are furry friends that make a surprise.
