Great Customer Service – My Vizio GV47 inch LCD stopped working. I researched the issues on the web and the problem seemed to be a bad control board. I priced the board alone and it would have been over $200 for the parts and shipment and it would have taken over a week. Other research revealed this type of issue generally cost's between $400 to $500 to repair professionally. Great Service at a reasonable price!! – I had another shop come to check my tv and they charged me $90 to tell me what was wrong. After paying that and waiting 3 weeks they told me they were not able to find the part to fix it. I called Oak Park Electronics and they came the next morning. They were not only much cheaper than the other shop but they had the parts needed with them in their truck. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. William, the repair guy, was very friendly. Great service.
Oak Park Electronics Terrible Service – I read many of the comments/complaints and agree with all except the positive ones. Oak Park Electronics is the WORST I have ever had to deal with. The phone person DOES act like you are bothering her when you call. She gave us bad information that ended up costing us more money and time. I, too, would give them no star if I could. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS !!

Dependable, solid and reliable ... and SMART! – This story had a very frustrating start because I called another local Raleigh TV repair company and after six weeks and $90, my TV was still very broken and I was very angry. DO believe in this company! – Our flat-panel TV developed a problem powering on. I called Oak Park, and William came out the next day. He arrived on time, and repaired the TV on site, in 90 min flat! Replaced some capacitors on one of the circuit boards - it made me a bit nervous when he pulled out his soldering gun... He did Excellent work! I hope I never need electronics repairs again, but if I do, I'll certainly call them again.

Don't believe all you read! Yes, William came out that day, charged $55 (to be paid by check or cash), promised to get back with estimate. I have made many, many calls over more than three weeks. Never get to speak with William, only his brother. It is always excuses - parts supplier can't get to his place of business due to snow, "still working on it", "trying to find remanufactured parts. They never, never have courtesy to call me. Finally had repair done elsewhere. Oak Park even got the diagnosis WRONG!

WILL NOT STOP TILL YOUR SATISFIED! – These guys will work until the job is done. i had a convergence issue with my big screen tv, these gentlemen quoted a price over the phone, came the next day and fixed the problem. If we weren't already big enough fans, when a DIFFERENT problem surfaced seemingly related, they came back out for FREE extremely fast and approached the new problem. when THAT part was faulty, they ordered the new part from the factory at NO ADDITIONAL COST! these guys will tell you they just want to make sure... read more
Excellent – They were there on time. Very reasonable and a pleasure to deal with. We thought it might cost a fortune and therefore would have just paid for the diagnostics and finished it there. They were so pleasant and the price was so fair, I would not hesitate to call them again. The TV works like new. Thank you
Would definitely recommend this repair service – I called this company at 1:30 and by 4:30 my TV was fixed and working better than ever. I think that speaks for itself. Oh, and the technician took the time to look at another minor problem we are having with another TV as well.
