I lived at a unit Oak Park Apartments runs for a few years now, and I’ve been very happy with my time here. Primarily, I’ve been pleased with: -Very affordable rent with small/reasonable increases, no large jumps -Well built historical buildings that are well-maintained -Responsive maintenance team whenever I had an issue -Great locations, my unit was very close to transit In my time living at my unit, management installed a heat pump as well, which added to the feeling of the buildings being well-maintained and modernized. ... read more
They are lying. I applied on 5/28 and today is June 3rd and my application still has not been processed. Do not rent from these people. The sparky and passive aggressive responses to reviews shows who they are and validates your feelings to not want to have to deal with them.
Unprofessional company. My application had been pending since May 29th. I had to ask them to cancel it since I found a place elsewhere. If you like delays and non-responsiveness, this is the place for you
save your money and time and rent with another company. -With all the rent paid there are zero amenities. -They couldn't be bothered to install security cameras despite experiencing package theft on a monthly basis and other major safety issues. I called so many times, not even everyday or annoyingly , just every now and then for the past 3-4 months and when management did answer, all they say is that I’ll have some call you back after taking down phone number and email. I guess this is a big red flag to avoid doing business with a company that doesn’t care about prospects, I can only imagine the experience residents are experiencing.
