It is a rare thing to have a local shop that covers so many bases so well. If Oak Mtn doesn't have what you need on hand, they will find it for you. They have a great selection of ground pounders and flying machines. No one in the Pelham/Hoover/Alabaster area has the selection or expertise they have on hand. My 1sq quad stopped working and they replaced its board without thinking I did something stupid. Good customer service!

We are grateful to have this store in our area. We do our best to support local businesses, and this is one that both my son and I enjoy going to. It's nice to get a real feel of how products are going to look and their size as opposed to shopping online.
Very poor customer service skills here. If you have kids with you beware. They treat customer with kids like second class citizens. Won't be spending my money here. No wonder so many people shop online and brick and mortar stores are on the decline. The major reason we go to brick and mortar is the customer experience. If they don't have that they have nothing.
This is one of the best hobby shops around. The staff is amazing and the owner and his wife are both a pleasure to work with.
This is a great place to buy your RC gear from. Nice selection, with hard to find items. They have all of the latest and greatest stuff and the parts to fix them. Nice staff!
