Oak Lane is a place you can feel comfortable placing your family member. The staff is wonderful and caring. It is a warm and loving home and the staff will become just like family. Dorie and all of the management staff are always an absolute delight and I can think of no where better to place a family member of my own.
Had to move my mom there at 90, no longer was it safe to be at home..Limited mobility and dementia, it's been a month now and it get's better every day..so much more interaction with people of her generation and the staff are loving and fun..I already enjoy any time I am there which I'd often..she still doesn't know why she can no longer be at home, but I could not have chosen a better place..
Oak Lane is my mom's choice of the many places she has opted to stay with. She likes the relaxed atmosphere with people she easily relates to as true friends. Mom had gotten real sick several years back, causing me to bring her home with us in S. E. Texas. As her health improved, she insisted on being allowed to live without and on her own. She took up residence with Parsons House in LaPorte TX, near us. Then as her confidence grew she needed even more independence, and She elected to return to Oak Lane in Grants Pass OR.
