This complex is unique. I moved in 8 years ago and was surprised by how quiet the neighbors are. This corridor of East Baltimore is crime-ridden but it is getting better due to gentrification and more Hopkins students renting houses here. 95% of the tenants at Oakhill are working-class singles and families. Most of the parking lots are empty around 10am which tells me that most of my neighbors have jobs. I've found the Maintenance staff to be competent and the response time has been ok. The lady in the leasing office don’t answer the phone maintenance come when they feel like it I’ve been calling all day none stop for plumbing issues they received the door noticed that was taped on the door yet still nothing has been done
