I have lived here since they were built. I left for 1 year to live close to my mother. once she was better I came back home, and this is exactly that. very nice homes and when something goes out it is fixed asap.. the managers treat you like family and go above and beyond to help you with anything. I love everything out here my view is beautiful. I highly recommend Forrest hill's apartments. it's family friendly, or if your single. it's safe and quite.

Terrible. Inconsiderate. Corportate is rude. This was my first apartment. My mom went with me to help me move in. They told my parents and me that the deposit was refundable. When I moved out 6 months later I cleaned my apartment to perfection. Absolutely nothing was damaged or dirty. And they kept my deposit. Because they had to change a light bulb and replace the smoke detector batteries. And you can't get help from the office. You have to snail mail to corporate and they don't answer. I moved in to this complex in March 2019. I was told of a roach infestation not 24 hours before my scheduled move in date. They claimed that they took care of the problem and they will go away in time. It is now a year and a half later, and the roaches are still very present. They are German cockroaches, very difficult to get rid of and impossible to live with. My cat's food bowl is overrun with them every evening when I get home. I type this now out of sheer desperation. Early morning yesterday around 1:30AM, our apartment was broken into by someone living in an adjacent apartment whom we do not believe is on the lease. We have never seen this person nor have we done anything to upset any neighbors. This person was drunk and possibly on drugs as it was a violent, screaming encounter. He was arrested in our backyard after having banged up our back door, busted through our back window, and destroyed all of my property in our backyard. The police called... read more

This is a crappy run operation..You have 2 managers that can do nothing except call corporate on every issue..and good luck getting any response..and as far as your deposit goes..kiss that goodbye as soon as you give it.. all you're going to get is excuses from the management. and you will be paying 4 light bulbs. air filters. And anything else they can charge you with.. I would never recommend this place. it's a poorly ran mess..

My husband and I really enjoy this place. The apartments are nice and we love our 2 bedroom layout. Our neighbors are super nice. He even brings our packages in when we aren’t home. He smokes, but it hasn’t been too much of an issue unless you go out into the hallway or leave a window open in the morning lol and even then it seems to subside after a while. I’m sensitive and it doesn’t really bother me. Our landlord, Rachel/ maintenance team are always on the ball if things need to be fixed or any other issues arise. For exam... read more

Avalon has extremely helpful and kind management. Much better experience here than other “student-oriented” complexes. Great community and close to campus, I love it!
