I lived in my third story apartment for just over a year. Not once did I have a complaint about management nor my apartment. My AC unit died over the summer and the next day I had a brand new one installed. My garbage disposal stopped working, and the next day I had someone fixing it. As far as rent - for the large one bedroom, you'd have a hard time beating the price for how much space you get.
