heard this bar had a good beer selection, so I thought I would give it a try. selection is okay...staff is so rude. was waited on by two different people, had to make eye contact for them to actually come to my table, and then they treated me like I was a waste of their time. won't go there again!
Best Bar – While my wife and I have been going to Oak Cafe for years, we find ourselves frequenting the place more often recently. Usually at least once a week now. They have a wonderful beer selection and Great food. We have never had a problem with the place being too hot or no ac and if we ever did, the staff is very well trained and responsive. I highly recommend Oak Cafe.

The most variety of different beers – I have been to this bar a few times, and although it may have been slightly warm i would say by no means was it too hot. I have taken out of town friends here and they are amazed at how many different types of beer choices there were! the food is good and fast, the only fault may be their one bathroom, which is difficult for the women who seem to need to go more often than men! but all in all i definitely recommend this bar!
Response to Bobby 999999 – I would like to point out that all of our previous reviews were of a satisfactory nature until Bobby9999999 comes along and bashes my place and calls me cheap.He also states that I never run my Air Conditioning. He takes a minor complaint that could of been resolved a uses it to smear me Thanks !!!!Well I do Run My Air Conditioning. We Have Had some minor problems with our units that have been fixed. Avoid when temps go above 75. NO AIR CONDITIONING! – I am speaking for 90% of the people that walk through the oak cafe doors. DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR IN THE SUMMERTIME. If you are looking for a cool bar and a cold beer, look elsewhere. All you get here is a sweaty beer and and even more sweaty back. The bar has air conditioning, but the owner refuses to turn it on! Can you say cheap?!?!? I am just looking out for all those hard workers out there. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BAR. THE OWNER IS CHEAP.
Downriver tradition! – Great family owned bar, excellent food, excellent beer selection. Always a good crowd, so get there early if you want a table. Great place to watch the Wings play, also a great stop on St. Patty's day. We always end up at "The Oak".
A Great Find! – One of the best ber selections in Michigan 27 taps and well over 250 bottles.A wide variety to please all beer drinkers from the novice to the beer geek. Service was friendly the food was agreat value and great, juicy burgers and good chilli. Weekends are usually busy but seems if you wait around for a few ou usually get a seat. If you have neber been it's worth checking out!
Oak Cafe can't be beat – The oak has all the beers a true beer lover craves. It also has one of the if not the best staff around. You won't be able to find a place that has all the beers and all the love that the oak has.
