Still as beautiful as it was two years ago. We love to go to Oak Alley when we visit the area. Each time we go we learn something new about the house or the families that lived in this beautiful home. Plan on coming back each time we are down in the area....from Baden Ontario Canada
This is such a beautiful place to visit. I agree, any pictures do not do the home and/or grounds the justice they deserve. While staying in NOLA we were part of a grey line tour here, and it was so nice. Highly recommend it!
MY FAVORITE PLACE SINCE I WAS A LITTLE KID.
The pictures of Oak Alley definitely do not do it justice. It is so much better in person! When visiting New Orleans, take the tour. So worth the money. Evergreen Plantation is also nice to visit. I reserved my tour with The Old River Road Plantation Adventure (w/transportation included). It's a nice deal. Our driver, Christophe, was a great historian.
