Come enjoy her beauty and dream of her rich past . . . Located on the Mississippi River between the historic Louisiana cities of New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Oak Alley Plantation has been called the "Grande Dame of the Great River Road". Nowhere else in the south will you find such a spectacular setting! Nice piece of history of the past and slavery. Interesting to see how much each slave is worth in dollars during those times.

I think Oak Alley is the most beautiful place on this earth and I've seen lots of it! It was interesting to see the house and grounds and learn about a sugar cane plantation. Spent the night in one of the little cottages (beautifully furnished) and had a delicious breakfast. Their beignets are great. Don't miss this.

A step back in time to the grandeur of this beautiful plantation, it’s beautiful, timeless interior & furniture & the awesomeness of these mighty oaks.....for a hopeless romantic you’ll feel as though youre in the midst of ...”gone with the wind...”
