We hired Oak42 to complete a full renovation of two bathrooms (and a refresh of a third) and are very happy we did. Steven and his team (Jim, Kess, and Grayson), along with the other trades, were a pleasure to work with. Some highlights: *Great communication*. Steven kept us informed at every stage, which made the project feel manageable and within our control. *Excellent guidance*. Steven and Jim listened carefully to what we wanted (a clean, modern spa-like atmosphere) and offered expert insights throughout. *High-quali... read more
We live in a 1960s home and hired Oak 42 to remove the wall between our dining room and living room. Steve and his team worked efficiently on the project, which included removing the wall, repairing the ceiling, removing popcorn ceiling that was in the living room (not dining room), and installing new flooring throughout our hallway, living room, and kitchen. Steve was always accessible for questions, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. I trust him and his team to deliver high-quality work. They completed the entire proje... read more
I hired Oak42 to renovate my condo, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Steven was incredibly responsive and thorough, he always kept me informed, so I never had to wonder what was happening. Since I wasn’t on site, I really appreciated how respectful the team was toward my tenants and their belongings. Every member of the crew I met was professional, kind, and easy to work with. The finished work exceeded my expectations, it turned out even better than I envisioned. If you’re considering hiring Oak42, my advice... read more
Steven Kavinsky and Oak 42 Ltd did renovations on our house, adding a kitchen, moving rooms around, adding the amenities we needed. We loved working with Steven, Jim his foreman, Casey, and all the subcontractors. The work was beautiful! Steven is very good with people - and he did what he said he'd do. He was regular in his communications so we were never left wondering where he was or what was going on. I'd add more stars if I could.
We were very pleased with the work completed by Oak 42 on our basement renovation from the initial quote process through to project completion. They were responsive and flexible to meet our project requirements in a timely manner. Steven was very knowledgeable with practical suggestions and advice when selecting products. The team went above and beyond to ensure everything was looked after and that we were updated with progress along the way. They kept the workspace clean and tidy each day. There were no surprises with a tra... read more
