2 stars because by hospital for standards, the food has been fairly nice for the most part. I've had nurses take 30+ minutes to respond. I've been woken up by nurses shoving little cups of "Take as needed" meds at half dose under my nose so they can try to not give me full doses. Doctors seem full of themselves and do not want to listen to you. Speaking to patient relations does seem to get their attention, but the doctors just come and try to get you to agree with them - even when they don't agree with each other. Unless th... read more
I reached out for emergency help taken to NYU MD spoke to me told me I needed emergency surgery I gave my consent ending up with colonoscopy remained as in-patient thus began my most traumatic life experience what I can tell you is that I had no choice as to which hospital I went to as I was an emergency but I can and will tell you about my in-patient recovery experience! Was very sick with a bad pneumonia in 2024 staff and doctor were very good with me the time I stayed there actually saved my life👍
I witnessed a security guard named Hamilton, subdue a violent patient who got loose in the ER and wreaked havoc two nights ago. Thank God for him stepping in to protect us. He made us all fell safe and we appreciate his dedication to both patient and staff safety. God bless this brave man.
