after being told i was to be discharged, i put my dress back on and was attacked by a security guard. it disturved the other patients and definitely makes me think dr klevorkian would love to work here. the lack of care and concern is grossly remarkable. nyu langone has become a nightmare for me, and is definitely not lutheran medical center that i was born in. Honestly needed help with my headaches and Memory loss and all they prescribe me is pills more pills therapy more therapy appointments arranged the days I work vaccines I don't need the doctor isn't very specific of my conditions just checks for basics apart from the nurse that can't give advice or any kind of Treatment that I need the therapy sessions aren't that helpful they speak but don't actually have the time to actually help you just a cash and grab wasting my time talking with a mummy or a talking statue there should... read more
To preface, I'm absolutely terrified of the ER and don't have a great time around doctors. After I popped my ankle and arrived here, the immediately put me in a wheelchair and got through one of the fastest experiences I've ever felt. The nurse at the front desk was so kind esp on a Sunday evening (7pm), and everyone after that was super understanding and gentle with my injury. Friendly and caring staff that listens to and tries to work with you no matter how busy it is. Dr. Ramirez was exceptionally helpful Sunday when I went it with complications from a shoulder dislocation. I left feeling confident i was thoroughly checked and safe. I got a call today from NYU Langone checking on me, and offering to help schedule an appointment with a specialist. I do not go to any other hospital in Brooklyn.
