i don’t understand all these negative reviews, maybe because of insurance reasons , but my medicaid has fully covered my stay at tisch . first off i’d like to say that this hospital it’s beyond exceptional. its clean organized and managed very well. the staff here is incredible and treated me with great care and respect. i feel very safe here and well monitored. the programs available for the patients are fun and educational. with group therapies and activities of all kinds . the food is generous great quality and many optio... read more
I was a patient on the inpatient unit at NYU Langone in 2025. Here are some things I feel are important to share about my expeirnce: - You are allowd to bring your personal electronics. Almost no other psych ward allows patients to do that. There are some tech guidelines, but for the most part, you can use your phone and laptop freely. - Daily visiting hours from 3:30-8:00 pm. i called this place to be a new client and they told me that they only take students and workers at NYU so i went to chat GPT and they told me basically they lying they have two one for student and workers and another one for out patients and this is the outpatient. in a way im glad they told me that because i didnt check the reviews that was god protection.

I went here seeking a basic individual therapist and MAT. I went through a very long intake process through which I would be called randomly during the day and not be told how long the calls would take. This happened about three times. On the fourth call, they COMPLETELY denied me care. No waitlist. FULL DENIAL.
