Dr. Dugue is the most empathetic, patient, and thorough doctor I have ever seen in NYC. He is very transparent and detailed about diagnosing, without inflicting any unnecessary fear in patients. I feel like a valued patient by him and the neurology staff, and will recommend him to anyone in need of a neuro ophthalmologist.
Writing this review to help other patients and flag this practice needs new management. During inpatient care I waited for over 16 hours for the Neurology department and never saw a doctor or was discharged by them. My OB had to discharge me. I would have had to stay overnight in the hospital (again) for simple discharge purposes from this team. I was told other neurology patients were also waiting for DAYs.
