I went here seeking a basic individual therapist and MAT. I went through a very long intake process through which I would be called randomly during the day and not be told how long the calls would take. This happened about three times. On the fourth call, they COMPLETELY denied me care. No waitlist. FULL DENIAL. Despite being a non profit and receiving millions in taxpayers subsidies, NYU psychiatry is a CASH ONLY practice. This is fundamentally counter to NYU Healths supposed mission statement and an abuse of their status as a safety net hospital.
The worst. I don’t know how they operate legally with phone numbers that never work or calls that are not returned.
