This has been an awful experience. I tried to establish care with this practice. They failed to refill meds I have been on for years. I cant get a hold of anyone in the office regarding the refills. They must have screwed up the billing for the visit because I received a statement saying $1200 was not covered. This was a simple well visit to establish care. I am 41 and reasonably healthy. How a simple well visit could turn into such a debacle is beyond me. Wild incompetence.
Dr. Akpinar was absolutely outstanding. My husband saw him after injuring his knee playing basketball, and from the moment he walked in, he felt confident he was in the right hands. Dr. Akpinar took his time, sat down with him, and thoroughly explained everything in a way that was clear and easy to understand. I struggled on if I should put this or not because I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I also don’t want anyone else to have the same experience I had. I would not recommend going to this nyu practice even if you have insurance as they charge more than anyone in the area by a lot. The doctor inserted me with a single shot in my knee of a hyaluronic acid injection. It took all of 10 minutes including my wait time. They charged me $3917. Dr. Akpinar and Jordan Naidrich, DPT have been great at helping me pre- surgery and post- surgery with my hip! Grateful to have found NYU Langone!
Looking for a new PCP and found this place. The Dr. and the ladies from front desk to back office were so nice and gentle! Rachel was amazing. Dr. Zohrabian was also very nice. Glad I found this place.
