This review of doctor Amy Kuruvilla, MD's scheduling practices. I have scheduled the appointment 2 months out because they had nothing available sooner. I started dealing with really bad pain in my thumb and this appointment was something I was really looking forward to! 5 days before the appointment someone from the office calls and says that the doctor will not be able to see me because she has an emergency. Had my first appointment today. The experience is the best I have had in all my years seeing doctors. Front desk staff attentive and caring and fast and capable. Got me checked in fast. Rebecca was my nurse and she was kind and thorough and efficient. Dr Kwok herself also really thorough and nice and knowledgeable. Everyone I worked with was stellar. Shocking level of incompetence and disregard for patient health needs. It’s surprising they have a NYU Langone affiliation. Don’t expect high quality care, or even any care, at this location.
Although getting a sooner than later appointment can be difficult, it is always worth the wait. Dr. Strauss is terribly missed by our family but Dr. Kwak is a worthy replacement. Love it here!
