NYU is the best hospital I have ever been to. I have really bad knees starting at the age of 14, after running in circles with the doctors in my area we were finally referred to Dr Eric Strauss. Let me just say, I have never met a kinder doctor in my entire life. I’ve had 4 knee surgeries done by him (2 on each leg) and every single time the experience was pleasant. the first time I woke up to a nurse holding my hand, the second time they came in every 5 minutes because I had to use the bathroom. Had a mamogram last week and had the most wonderful technician, Liz. She was very professional and so absolutely kind- it was the very best mamogram experience I have ever had. Thanks so much, Liz!
Yesterday on 2/23/18 I had surgery with Dr. Werner Doyle. He and his staff made me feel calm and comfortable before going to surgery. Dr. Doyle and the anesthelogist answer all of my questions. The nurse couldn't believe how quickly I woke up from general anesthesia? I'm very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Nyu langone hospital for there services. I work at Nyu langone hospital- Brooklyn. I hope we get more of your specialist's to comadent our patient's. Once again thank you Dr. Doyle and staff.
I would like to give a huge Thank you to Dr. Deborah Axelrod, Dr. Jamie Levine, Dr. Julia Smith and Dr. Marleen Meyers - I was diagnosed on 11/29 with Breast Cancer on 1/22 I underwent a bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction - the entire team at NYU is amazing they make the process of all doctors, options, tests and everything else in between feel seamless. This team saved my life and I am forever thankful to them and this great hospital. #ihatecancer
