I had a wonderful visit with Dr Aaron Wengrofsky, him and his medical assistant were lovely. The front desk staff however, were some of the rudest women I have ever encountered. Although my personal interaction with them was fine (but very unfriendly) the interactions I experienced while sitting in the waiting room were nothing short of appalling. I had a very important visit to get a Insulin pump that was unfairly denied to me. This Dr. Office forces you to sign a form that says you have been advised by the office that the doctor does not take your insurance and you are responsible for paying the medical expenses. I was told that my insurance approved the treatment but I would have to sign the form to see the nutrician specialist. I made a complaint and am awaiting a response from a supervisor. Its part of the NYU Langone facilities, si that should explain alot. Yet, there is ample parking, both indoor (underground) and outdoor, including valet parking. It is easily accessible for those with ambulatory issues and not. Very clean, plenty of restrooms, an elevator and extremely cleam and well maintained. My doctors appointment was met on time and without issues.
