Wish I could give a 0 star tbh.. customer service is never helpful and often rude. Our bills are never consistent even though we’ve lived in the same house with the same routines for 3 years.
A big pine tree fell on our power lines leaving us without power during a wind storm on a 7° day. The tree was blocking our driveway. The NYSEG crew cut the tree and cleared it from the driveway. They promptly restored and updated the lines. They were very efficient and professional. Thank you very much!
I’ve been a NYSEG customer for several years, and I’m extremely disappointed with how this company operates. My electric bills have more than doubled over the past two years, even though my household usage and routines haven’t changed at all. Greediest company ever when it comes to anything. Overcharging customers especially low income families just so they can put the funds in their pockets and not give a care about anyone but themselves.
If I could they would get no star rating. Customer service is absolutely horrible. I signed up for budget bill and within the first 4 months I was in the red, I went in and changed my budget bill amount to offset the difference.Only to find out if you pay more than your used amount they just give you a credit instead of putting it towards your budget.
