In town to plan a funeral so really wanted to have a place I could process and rest. Unfortunately, found a roach on my bed which affected my rating for the hotel. Everything had been nice prior to realizing I had been sleeping with the bug in the bed. Notified the Hotel and they had the room clean. Just left a bad taste when they asked “what they could do to make it better”. Like why should I put the mental energy into deciding how they could make up for this terrible incident. These modern loft rooms are cool with concrete and simple decor. Spacious rooms, large windows, comfortable bed, good step-in shower. Note that the room does not have a mini refrigerator or microwave, which is a bummer, but there is a microwave in the lobby's food counter area. The staff were nice and helpful. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We arrived very late after a long day of driving across the country and expected a quick, stress-free check-in. Instead, we were met by Kaylon White at the front desk, who was rude, arrogant, dismissive, and completely unprofessional from the moment we walked in. The issue centered around our legitimate service animal.
