Everyone I’ve spoken with here has been kind, but it’s clearly very unorganized. Two tales of caution: 1) My doctor forgot to submit a new prescription for me to the pharmacy after an appointment, and it took 3 months of hounding the office for to get him to send it. Anytime I called I was put on hold via the system and the call eventually dropped, or I was urged to message via MyChart, where I never received a response. Staff are very friendly, but no one picks up the phone at this location there's one young lady for the phyc floor very kind and works hard. Unfortunately NYC health and hospitals value doctors and bureaucracy more than patients mental health or physical health. I am a proponent for metal health, an advocate for science. Unfortunately because east Williamsburg is an area that has seen high rates of drug addiction they treat everyone who goes there as such. The facility is very clean. The staff are very friendly. Wait times are very reasonable. NP Monika Raj is thorough and friendly. The pulmonologist affiliated with them who works at Woodhull hospital, which is one block away, Dr. Mathew Brandorff, is AMAZING. My low rating is based on 4 issues. 1) Contacting them via phone is literally impossible. 2) Communication skills are poor. 3) This is my main issue... the clerical aspect of this facility is very poor.
