This place is a death trap. You’re lucky if you make it out alive. They are completely negligent !!! They basically killed my father. The ICU is dangerously understaffed, with far too few nurses to handle the critical care patients. The ones there are clearly overwhelmed and unable to provide the level of attention needed. Bedside manner is nonexistent. The doctors appear detached, dismissive, and indifferent to the lives in their care. This hospital should be held accountable for its dangerous practices.
Gave birth at this hospital and received prenatal and postpartum care here. It's a minimum 2 hour wait just to see obgyn. And one time I had to wait 4 hours before I saw an obgyn. Had a nurse tell me "I know you don't belive in him but pray to Jesus" when I was already struggling with my pregnancy, I am not a Christian and that was inappropriate, you are here to help me medically not guide me spiritually. Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health NYC I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! On Sunday, June 29, 2025, I applied to this hospital for help with acute pain. They didn't give me the help I needed that day. The doctor turned out to be young, illiterate and inexperienced. Any competent therapist could have helped me more in my case than the one who was on duty at the hospital that day. Very bad nurses and doctors, very rude.. and when you ask them questions they ignore you...I have a son there for cancer and they are not helping him. Do not take your loved one's to this hospital
